Nigerian man files lawsuit to compel senate to investigate President Buhari’s health status A Nigerian man, Toyin Dawodu, has filed a lawsuit at the Federal High Court in Abuja, to compel the Senate to constitute a medical panel to investigate President Buhari's true state of health as well as determine if he is medically fit to continue as President of Nigeria.  In a statement dated June 28th, Dawodu said that there have been reports in some section of the media that President Buhari is in such a bad state that even his wife is not allowed to see him. He added that there are rumors that Nigeria is currently being run by a group of unelected bureaucrats and that there is a possibility that Buhari is being held by his handlers against his will in the UK.  According to Dawodu, Nigerians deserve to know his current status and whereabouts. Friday, 30 June 2017 Pervert caught on camera sexually molesting 10-year-old girl (photos/video) A man believed to be a paedophile was captured on camera sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl in Washington DC. In the shocking video, the man can be seen opening the door for the girl then as she passes through, he grabs her bum. The girl looked uncomfortable afterwards and passed a hand over her backside. The incident occurred on Monday, June 26, 2017, in the 600 block of North Carolina Avenue, SE, Washington DC at exactly  12:46 p.m.  The Metropolitan Police Department is calling on the public to assist in identifying the man seen molesting the girl in the video. Friday, 30 June 2017 Photos: Youths in Kaduna attack vigilante group members for killing young man in Kaduna Irate youths in Kontogora, Kaduna state yesterday attacked and burnt the offices of the Vigilante group in their community after a youth was killed by a member of the vigilante group. The youths set the office of the vigilantes on fire and also attacked some persons found in the office. Three persons sustained injuries during the attack and are currently receiving medical attention at a hospital. The remains of the deceased youth has been deposited at the state mortuary. Friday, 30 June 2017 Sign death warrant of prisoners on death row- FG appeals to state governors As part of efforts to de-congest the prisons in Nigeria, the Federal government yesterday called on all state governors to sign the death warrant of prisoners in their state that are currently on death row. Some governors have for religious and personal beliefs, refused to sign the death warrants of convicted murderers in their various prisons. The Federal government made the appeal at the National Economic Council, NEC meeting in Abuja, presided over by the Acting President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo in Abuja.
